Recently, the April 2025 automotive export sales rankings were officially released! Data shows that there were 10 brands with export sales exceeding 10,000 units in April. Chinese brands nearly dominated the top 10, with BYD defending its championship title. Chery Automobile unfortunately lost the crown, Tesla ranked 4th, and Haval broke the 20,000-unit threshold. Jetour and Baojun both saw rank improvements, while Geely, Changan, and Yueda Kia underperformed—Geely ranked only 8th. Brands such as Jianghuai, Volvo Asia-Pacific, Leapmotor, Beijing Hyundai, GAC Trumpchi, and Geely Galaxy also entered the top 20, with Chinese brands like Tank, Kayi, DeepBlue, Hongqi (Red Flag), and Lynk & Co all making the list.

In April, Chinese car brands delivered strong performances, with 8 automakers achieving export sales of over 10,000 units. BYD once again surpassed Chery to claim the championship with a significant margin. Chery took second place, with April export sales exceeding 60,000 units. MG (Morris Garages) also performed impressively, while Tesla and Haval ranked 4th and 5th respectively—Tesla narrowly missed breaking the 30,000-unit mark. Jetour and Baojun both rose in the rankings, while Geely and Changan showed mediocre performance: Geely ranked 8th, slipping 4 positions month-on-month, and Yueda Kia ranked 10th, dropping 2 spots.

In the 11th–20th positions of the April export sales rankings, Jianghuai Automobile, Jiangling Ford, and Volvo Asia-Pacific all exceeded 8,000 units. Leapmotor emerged as a dark horse among Chinese brands, with April export sales exceeding 6,000 units. Beijing Hyundai remained at 15th place. Chinese brands such as GAC Trumpchi, Dongfeng Fengshen, SAIC-GM-Wuling, and Geely Galaxy also entered the top 20, with Geely Galaxy ranking 20th and exporting nearly 4,000 units in April.

Finally, premium Chinese brands like XPeng, Tank, EXEED Starray, DeepBlue, Hongqi, and Lynk & Co also reported solid export sales in April. The Tank brand ranked 24th with export sales exceeding 3,000 units, while Hongqi and Lynk & Co both sold over 2,000 units. Brands such as Changan Mazda, Landian, Chery iCAR, Aion, Zeekr, and Bestune achieved export sales of over 1,000 units in April.
